We are currently adding to our list of workshops and classes. If there is something in particular you would like to learn, get in touch. If there are enough like minded people we can certainly facilitate a class. Generally these workshops explore current trends within the craft world and allow you to dip your ‘toe in the water’ before spending your hard earned cash on materials.
Sat 26 AprDundonaldFor those who have some knowledge of basic embroidery stitches, you will create a little monogrammed piece using basic embroidery stitching in a colour palette of your choice.
Mon 28 AprDundonaldPerfect workshop for a community group encompassing some painting and floral manipulation to create a lovely home decor piece in the colour of your choosing
Wed 30 AprDundonaldThis is the perfect class for those who want to learn 4-5 of the most common embroidery stitches and yet small enough to potentially get finished within the 2 hour workshop. Stitches covered include chain, outline, French knots, satin, lazy daisy and woven wheel
Fri 02 MayDundonaldSuitable for those who have undertaken the beginners embroidery workshop, this class will build on your knowledge of basic stitches and explore some further techniques. All worked on Irish linen (choice of colours) or jean fabric
Sat 03 MayDundonaldStarting with a wood blank (50 x 15cm) you will master the technique of staining the wood prior to stencilling with a dry brush technique before adding embellishments. Range of quotes provided for you to choose from
Mon 05 MayDundonaldHow pretty is this little floral frame which can be used to hold a photo or an inspirational quote. A selection of quotes will be provided. Suitable for a group workshop.

Wed 21 MayDundonaldPopular in 2024. Bookfolding vase. Great craft for manual dexterity and repetitive fold so great to chat whilst creating something beautiful. Different options available which don't require measuring to produce various shaped vases.
Fri 23 MayDundonaldTake your cardmaking to the next level where we will explore making dimensional cards which really stand out from the shop bought folded card. We will construct easel, pillar, diamond and pyramid cards and these also fold flat for posting.

Tue 03 JunDundonaldFun craft activity and suitable for kids also. Make some clay frogs to use in your floral art as well as some flower pot sticks to adorn your plant pots

Mon 09 JunDundonaldMake some bath fizzers in your choice of colour from natural ingredients to add to your bathtime soak. Option to add lavender and rose petals.
Thu 12 JunDundonaldBlank bunting will be provided for you to embellish with letters, buttons, bows gems etc. Suitable as a kids party craft as well as making for a gift for new parents.
Mon 16 JunDundonaldUsing a mix of fabrics create a landscape which can be embellished with hand embroidery.
Tue 17 JunDundonaldDecorate pots, frames, bottles or boxes with patterned paper and a special adhesive. The choice is yours.
